A Bit About Us

Founded in 2021, BETC represents a collaborative project launched by University Hospitals Bristol and Weston, Southmead Hospital (NBT) and InHealth Endoscopy (Prime Endoscopy Bristol). Based in Bristol (South West England), our modern, interactive, and inclusive ethos reflects the various backgrounds and cultures of the area. Our aim is to provide an enriched and diverse learning environment for all endoscopy staff with courses aimed at not only trainees, and established endoscopists, but also at nurses, ancillary staff, and the wider endoscopy family. Our teachers are experts eager to pass on their endoscopy skills and passion to colleagues.

Our courses encompass basic and advanced therapeutics, in both and upper and lower GI settings. Virtual endoscopy. Simulated situational awareness/management. We hope also to deliver an Advanced Accessory Nursing Program. Our affiliated National Training Centre 'InHealth Endoscopy Training Centre (South West)' will be delivering both basic colonoscopy and gastroscopy courses, together with TTT, and introduction to Transnasal endoscopy.
